Job description

Key responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager will include:

Ensuring the accuracy of stock rotation and picking of products for each order

Packing and ensuring the order is ready for collection before the deadline

Being a food environment Technical standards and Traceability are key – so paper trails and computer systems must be always updated accurately

Health & Safety standards and procedures must be adhered to and always maintained.

Ensure the delivery procedures are carried out by the fulfillment team and co-ordinate with the courier partners

Using the delivery management system pass on the relevant delivery details to the drivers and ensure they are being delivered promptly to the customers.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You will have a background in a similar warehouse role ideally in the Food Sector or a similar FMCG business and will be a first-class communicator able to lead and maintain the highest standards in operations.

On top of this you will also need:

Ability to understand standards and practices both in Quality Control and Health & Safety, including HACCP.

Leadership and able to train staff.

Physically fit and comfortable to be on foot for the duration of working hours.

Able to lift up to 30kg in weight.

Understanding/knowledge of Asian vegetables, fruits, and groceries would be highly beneficial

Salary: £25600 to £28000 Annually

Type: Full-time / Permanent

Working hours: 35/weekly
